“The Art and Technology indicator in the MIL Cities: metrics and perspectives”
Felipe Chibas Ortiz is an Associate Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP), where he teaches the discipline Posthuman Diversities, Ethics and MIL Cities for masters, doctors and post-doctors.
He is Co-leadership of the Innovation Working Group of the International Steering Committee of the UNESCO MIL Alliance and actively participated in creating the MIL Cities Network worldwide.
Coordinates the international research and consulting team CRIACOMC (Creativity, Innovation, Marketing. Communication and Cities). Guest professor of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and member of the Executive Committee of UNITWIN.
He has been closely involved as an organiser and speaker in UNESCO’s Global MIL Week, World Press Freedom Day international ceremonies and other Mundial events from the UN.
Chibás Ortiz is the author or editor of 32 books published in several languages in the fields of Smart Cities, MIL Cities, Communication, Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Some of them are international references. He is also one of the MIL Cities Metrics App developers for evaluating cities.
He is the author of the Methodology of 20 Cultural Barriers and 5 Dimensions of Creativity (20 BCC-5CR). Nowadays, he leads a transdisciplinary team that researches the competencies and values of the Media Literacy Curriculum of UNESCO with Artificial Intelligence.
He is also an external consultant partner of the B&G Group.
In recognition of his outstanding and pioneering contributions to MIL Cities, he received the Leader Award for Vocation.
